From Farm to Tray

I'm thrilled to join the Host Committee for Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen’s third annual sustainable food and wine benefit, From Farm to Tray, on May 21st. The benefit, like the meals served every week, will focus on locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients. And 100% of the proceeds go to direct support of the operations of the soup kitchen.

Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen is the largest emergency food program in New York State, serving over 1,000 meals every single day to hungry and homeless New Yorkers. Good nutrition is at the center of their meal planning (they only serve whole grains!) and they turn out amazing weekly menus like this recent one on the right.
